Product Description
When designing Graphite Mold casting crucible, the following aspects need to be considered:
1. Crucible material selection: graphite is a commonly used crucible material, with high temperature thermal resistance and good thermal conductivity. Select a high purity graphite material to ensure high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of the crucible.
2. Crucible shape design: The shape of the crucible should be designed according to the specific casting requirements. In general, the bottom of the crucible is conical to facilitate the flow and discharge of molten metal. The height and diameter of the crucible also need to be determined according to the casting process and the volume of the metal liquid.
3. Crucible wall thickness design: The wall thickness of the crucible should be determined according to factors such as heat conduction and thermal expansion during the casting process. Too thin wall thickness may cause the crucible to break, and too thick wall thickness will increase the weight of the crucible and the heat transfer time.
